A flagship website that heroes the donor, not the organisation

How do you inspire potential donors to support your mission?

Challenge

Conservation International's website had become too focused on the organisation itself. With a wealth of past and current projects to draw on, the goal was to put storytelling front and centre, connect visitors directly to the work, and inspire belief that together we can protect the natural world for generations to come.

Solution

The new site puts the donor first, making clear their role in Conservation International's plans across three core areas people already care about: oceans, climate and biodiversity. New content formats, including video and other storytelling media, give staff the tools to speak to potential supporters directly.

Outcomes

Now powered by the Sanity Content Operating System, the site gives Conservation International the tools to deploy content rapidly across channels, with accessibility, speed, scalability and sustainability built in from the start.

“This redesign brings our mission and impact to life for every visitor — whether they come to learn, give, or get involved — and illustrates through impactful storytelling how investing in nature delivers lasting benefits for climate, biodiversity, and the ocean”
